Do you have cellulite? Raise your hand. That’s right, cellulite is something that many women have, but not all us have the salary of Kim Kardashian to have cellulite treatments done. Well, that is where our quick tip for today comes in. Apparently, applying coffee ground on cellulite can noticeably decrease the appearance of cellulite.
The caffeine in coffee is a main ingredient in many anti-cellulite creams and that explains why many people assume that coffee is an alternative treatment to cellulite. The theory is not entirely wrong. However, drinking coffee can lead to dehydration, which in fact, increases the appearance of cellulite. Applying coffee grounds to the skin externally is the solution that many people rave about.
The tip is fairly easy, but somewhat messy. Take warm coffee grounds (can be microwaved) and mix with a tablespoon of olive oil to get a paste like consistency. Then apply to cellulite trouble areas and wrap with plastic wrap. Wait 15 minutes before removing plastic wrap and rinsing off any remaining coffee grounds.
There should be a noticeable reduction in cellulite after a few coffee ground treatments. It may be a little late to do for this year’s bikini season, but this a great tip to keep in mind for next summer!
