A New Year calls for a new set of fashion trends! 2011 was a great year in fashion, but we can’t wait to see what 2012 has to offer. In honor of a year that brought back some of our favorite trends from the past, (yes, we are talking about bell bottoms and legwarmers) we are highlighting the Best of Dots Trends 2011.

Boho and tribal prints rocked us through spring and into summer, letting us all unleash our inner free spirit. The bohemian trend translated through the whole year with maxi dresses that were seasonless and jumpsuits that made a bold statement, letting every fashionista feel as if she was heading out for a night at Studio 54. We saw denim open up as flare jeans gave skinnies a run for their money; and they looked fabulous paired with a platform wedge and a flowing top for a look that was definitely hippie chic.

As we hit fall and winter, it was all about layers and glam. Legwarmers made boots and booties pop, as floppy hats and faux fur touches made us look and feel luxurious. These may be a few trends we will be packing up and taking with us into 2012, because we haven’t had enough just yet!
