Lil Wayne’s new album Tha Carter IV drops this week! With songs like “6 foot 7 foot” this album is going to be a hot seller; not to mention his raspy and unique voice that we can’t get enough of. The album was supposed to be on the shelves early this summer but the rapper moved back the release date to work on his lyrics. His producer says that Lil Wayne is a “perfectionist” when it comes to writing. That explains why he’s a top selling artist!

Nicole Sherzingers newest album is hitting stores today! The title of the album is Killer Love, and it’s all about love and relationships with a club/hip-hop vibe. Inspired mostly from her on-and-off again boyfriend of three years, Lewis Hamilton. Two songs from the album Right There and Don’t Hold Your Breathe, are already radio and iTunes hits.

Jennifer Lopez’s seventh studio album, Love? has recently been released and it’s already taking over the charts. JLO holds this album to be her most personal to date, taking inspiration from the birth of her twins and her own experiences with love. The album is full of club-ready singles, with dance hit “On the Floor” featuring Pitbull being her most successful single in eight years! What do our divas think of JLO’s new album?

Out today is the much anticipated album from our girl Britney Spears! Femme Fatale hits stores today, now we already love the upbeat singles and can’t wait to listen to the whole thing! This is Britney’s seventh studio album and her first since 2008. The album is said to be a tribute to bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men. It’s not a conceptual album; she is letting the music speak for itself. She’s worked hard on it for two years and she considers it to be her “best album to date,” true to where she is now personally and professionally.

New Album Drop: Ciara, Michael Jackson

Ciara’s latest album finally comes out today. ‘Basic Instinct’ which was supposed to be released earlier this year features the Atlanta entertainer unleashing over 11 bass-heavy tracks crafted by the likes of Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, Kenneth ‘Soundz’ Coby, Ester Dean, Tyler Williams, Nelson Kyle and Hilton Humphery. Ciara tries to get back to her roots with this album but does she fall short?  Have you heard it yet, if so let us know what you think!

 Epic Records will release their first collection of posthumous Michael Jackson material. The album will be called Michael comes out today! The first single set to come off of the album was “Hold My Hand” which was leaked back in November. The song features and was written by Akon and was recorded back in 2007. Michael Jackson also collaborated with Lenny Kravitz and 50 cent on other songs on the album. The album cover was created by painter Kadir Nelson on 2009, featuring depictions of key moments of the signer’s life. Will you be picking this one up?

New Album Drop: T.I., Natasha Bedingfield

T.I.’s much anticipated comeback album No Mercy comes out today! Rumors have spread that T.I. originally recorded over 100 songs for potential inclusion on this album, but only 14 made the cut on this guest heavy release. So far guests will include Eminem and Kanye West. The Eminem track, ‘That’s All She Wrote,’ has already leaked and it’s a little dark and moody. Other guests will bring the R&B and pop elements that T.I. has successfully played on for many of his biggest singles. Those artists include: Drake, Christina Aguilera, The Dream, Pharrell and Kid Cudi. We can’t wait to hear the whole album!

Strip Me is the upcoming third studio album by singer-songwriter Natasha Bedingfield. For the 13 song collection, Natasha worked with some of today’s hottest writers and producers including Wayne Wilkins, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and John Shanks. She even re-teamed with Danielle Brisebois, who helmed her smash single Unwritten.

Akon’s new album Akonic comes out today! He describes it as more dance / feel good music and less Hip Hop / R&B with only two rap features: Ludacris and Rick Ross. He has also decided to release a free album strictly “for the streets” to please his Urban audience in conjunction with the retail release of Akonic. The collection which is going be titled either Koncrete or Fusion will be made available on his website.

Other albums include:

 Pink Friday, the much-anticipated debut album from Nicki Minaj. Let us say this girl can rap! The album features the hits “Your Love,” “Check It Out” and “Right Thru Me,” and includes guest appearances from Rihanna, Eminem, Kanye West, Drake and Natasha Bedingfield.

Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the most eagerly-awaited albums of the year, even though most of the music is already out there in one form or another.  The album features five different pictures, and guest appearances by Kid Cudi, Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, Rza, Swizz Beatz, Raekwon, and alt-rocker Bon Iver.  One cut, “All of the Lights,” features, among others, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Fergie, Elton John, and La Roux singer Elly Jackson.

The much anticipated latest release from Rihanna finally comes out today! “Loud” is her fifth studio album and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. Her first two singles ‘Only Girl in the World’ and ‘What’s My name’ Ft. Drake and are already topping the charts and there will most likely be more to follow. This is going to be a great album to listen to as you hit the dance floor. What’s even more exciting is the album also features collaborations with Timbaland, Taio Cruz, Alex da Kid, Drake, Sean Garrett, and Ne-Yo.

Also out today is Pink’s “Greatest Hits … So Far!!!” which spans the singer’s 10-year career, including tracks from all 5 albums — ‘Can’t Take Me Home,’ ‘Missundaztood,’ ‘Try This,’ ‘I’m Not Dead’ and ‘Funhouse.’ The album has 16 songs total and is a perfect mix for the ultimate Pink fan.

Other releases include American Idol’s Lee DwWyze and his debut album “Live it up”, Kid Rock’s “Born Free”, Keith Urban’s “Get Closer”, and of course we are excited about the Glee Christmas CD!
