Since we are not beauty experts, we sought out in search for one in order to get the hottest trends in make-up this fall. We found on allure.com beauty section the scoop on all the fall make-up trends right from the runway.

1st Trend: Rosy Cheeks - For fall, a nice rosy cheek is the way to go. Now that the sunny days are over, adding a hint of color to your  cheek bones will brighten your face. A nude lip color and eye shadow will really allow the rosy color to stand  out.

2nd Trend: Metallic Smoky Eye - Update the black and silver smoky eye this season with metallics of all different shades. Try a nice fall  copper tone, lined with a black eye liner. Let the smoky eye speak for itself and keep the rest of your make-  up subdue.

3rd Trend: Red Wine Lips - Seen on the runway of Gucci, this bold red lip is a daring and sexy look, perfect for a hot date. Try this  electrifying color with a rich purple or fuschia blouse.

These makeup trends will match perfectly with the hottest fall fashions from Dots!

Halloween Makeup Ideas

Halloween is a great time to get a little crazy with your makeup! It doesn’t have to be flawless or even beautiful as long as it goes with the costume. Of course, the easiest way to start your Halloween makeup is by going dark with your nailpolish. Black is the easiest choice, but you may also want to go with a dark green or gray depending on your costume.

Next, hair can play a big part in the costume. It could be big, poufy and sort of crazy if you’re a dressing up as a witch. Or you can opt for a wig in order to really achieve the perfect look for your costume. Many of the Fall makeup trends can actually help with your Halloween costume. For instance, a dark plum lip, seriously dramatic lashes and shine.  Never underestimate the powers of a metallic eyeshadow, especially if you are going as a princess or Hollywood celebrity!

If you’re going for a major makeup look, try face paint or temporary tattoos. Halloween is just one night so make sure all the products you use are removable and unharmful. Also, go easy on the body glitter because it takes forever to wash off!
