This weekend’s must see movie is Bridesmaids staring SNL funny girls Kristen Wig and Maya Rudolph. This is one movie I can definitely relate to, and if you have been in a wedding you most likely can yourself. Picked as her best friend’s maid of honor, lovelorn and broke Annie (Wig) looks to bluff her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals with an oddball group of bridesmaids. Think the Hangover for women. It looks hilarious and we’ll definitely be checking this out.

Make the most of this cold and dreary spring day by making it a movie night. Out tonight is Country Strong, starring Gwenyth Paltrow, Leighton Meester and Tim McGraw. It’s a drama we’ve seen before about centered on a rising country-music songwriter who sparks with a fallen star. Together, they mount his ascent and her comeback, which leads to romantic complications involving her husband/manager and a beauty queen-turned-singer. The best part about this movie is they do all of their own signing which makes it definitely worth checking out.
Not to mention Paltrow and Meester have the best star style. Here are some of our favorite red carpet moments.

Ever wish you could do everything you’ve ever dreamt of and be really great at it? Well get a glimpse of what it would be like in Limitless starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro. The movie is about a copywriter, played by Cooper, who discovers a top-secret drug which bestows him with super human abilities. As his usage begins to change his life, he begins to consider the drug’s shadowy origins; meanwhile, a group of killers trails his every move. I’ve been wanting to see this one for a while, not only does it seem action packed, but any movie where Bradley Cooper is the main character…I’m there!
Also out this weekend is Lincoln Lawyer, a movie about a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental sedan. The lawyer has spent most of his career defending garden-variety criminals, until he lands the case of a lifetime: defending a Beverly Hills playboy accused of murder, which suddenly develops into a deadly game of survival. Yet another reason to check out this movie is for the eye candy as it stars Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Phillippe.
Who ever said girls didn’t like action/drama movies? These two have some very good looking reasons to go see them!

Not your childhood version of Little Red Riding Hood. Out today is Red Riding Hood staring Amanda Seyfried, the tale of a beautiful young woman torn between two men. She is in love with a brooding outsider, but her parents have arranged for her to marry a wealthier man. Unwilling to lose each other, they plan to run away together when they learn that the girl’s older sister has been killed by the werewolf that prowls the dark forest surrounding their village. For years, the people have maintained an uneasy truce with the beast, offering the creature a monthly animal sacrifice. But under a blood red moon, the wolf has upped the stakes by taking a human life. Sounds creepy but I think this is one I will definitely check out!
Amanda Seyfried has come a long way since her days as a mean girl both on screen and on the red carpet. Here are some of our favorite looks!

Most girls would think having a “friends with benefits” relationship with a guy is just asking for trouble. I mean, lets be honest, I think it’s fair to say that a lot of us have been there. Which is why you might want to check out No Strings Attached, starring Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, which opens in theatres today. This seems to be Natalie Portman’s year, Hollywood can’t seem to get enough of her, but this time she’s back in a less serious role. It’s a story of a guy and girl try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it’s not long before they learn that they want something more. Sounds a little backwards, but I think this movie is going to be a fun romantic comedy anyone will enjoy. What do you think?

Have you ever found out one of your friends boyfriends or girlfriends were cheating and you didn’t know what to do? It’s a sticky situation, but to bring some light to a tough subject you may want to see The Dilemma, which looks absolutely hilarious. It opens in theaters today and with an all-star cast like you are guaranteed laughs! It stars Vince Vaughn, Kevin James, Channing Tatum, Queen Latifa, and Winona Ryder. Since college, confirmed bachelor Ronny and happily married have been through thick and thin. But Ronny’s world is turned upside down when he inadvertently sees Nick’s wife out with another man and makes it his mission to get answers. As the amateur investigation dissolves into mayhem, he finds out sometimes what you don’t say to a friend is just as important as what you do.

I feel like it’s been a while since we’ve seen Ryan Gosling in a big movie, but we are glad to see he is back in Blue Valentine, which opened Wednesday in theaters. Also staring Michelle Williams, this love story tells of a man and woman who were once in love but are now falling out of love. Mom is the serious one who works at a hospital with the hopes of becoming a doctor. Dad is the fun one, a man of many talents, who has a tough time committing to anything, besides his family. The movie seems to have a sense of familiarity that anyone could relate too, and almost looks really heartbreaking. This may be a good one to go see with your girls.

Another Focker movie is here! I can’t wait to see the third installment of the Meet the Parents’ movies; if it’s as funny and awkward as the other two it’s going to be a hit. Starring Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro and Own Wilson, Little Fockers is about the two Focker offspring of Greg and Pam, and Greg’s attempt to pass Jack’s final test to become the family’s next patriarch. After the cash-strapped dad takes a job moonlighting for a drug company, Jack’s suspicions about his favorite male nurse come roaring back. When Greg and Pam’s entire clan-including Pam’s lovelorn ex, Kevin descends for the twins’ birthday party, Greg must prove to the skeptical Jack that he’s fully capable as the man of the house. This is going to be a great movie to see with the family this holiday weekend!
Also out this weekend is Country Strong, starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Leighton Meester. The movie is a drama centered on a rising country-music songwriter who sparks with fallen star Kelly Canter, played by Paltrow. Together, they mount his ascent and her comeback, which leads to romantic complications involving her husband/manager and a beauty queen-turned-singer, played by Meester. It’s a story we’ve all heard before, but these are not just actors playing singers. Paltrow and Meester do all of their own signing and performing in the movie!

One movie that you might want to note seeing is “How Do You Know” staring Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson. It looks cute, funny, romantic and could be the perfect movie to catch with your guy or even for a girls night. Feeling a bit past her prime at 27, former athlete Lisa Jorgenson finds herself in the middle of a love triangle, as a corporate guy in crisis competes with Lisa’s current, baseball-playing beau. With a cast like this, you can’t expect anything less than a lot of laughs.
