Dark Coffee is a rich color to try out this season, and works perfectly with any winter wardrobe, and goes great with neutral colors like tans, whites and browns.
Instead of going with a black polish, this one adds warmth and shine while still achieving that modern chic look. Sephora carries this color, they call it “I’m With Brad”, props for the name too. You can order right from their website or from any Sephora store!

Have you ever wondered what nail polish color looks best with the hot trends for fall? Well here are three of the hottest trends straight from the runway paired with the best nail polish options.
The first trend is polka dots. This dotted up look, from the dress to the dot printed pantyhose is modern yet still gives off that retro 70′s vibe. Instyle magazine paired this look with a suede grey polish, that enhances the modernness of the dots, but is also a great neutral color that can go with many other styles.
The second trend this fall is fur (or faux fur). Faux fur is inexpensive and can add class to any outfit. To really give off a rich and luxurious persona, pair it with a deep burgundy polish. Dark polish is a fall/winter must and when worn with this faux fur style you will be one trendy gal!
The third trend is lady like sophistication. With a peacoat or trench, and a feminine flowing skirt, this look is great for those family holiday get-togethers or just a sunday morning stroll. Polish it off with a rich camel colored nail. Nudes are great because they are toned down enough for a day at work, and trendy enough to be worn out to a dinner date.

There is nothing that can make your holiday look more complete quite like dipping your digits in a gorgeous holiday nail color.
One color that never goes out of style for me is a beautiful dark red. Cranberry red, as well as sparkling, glittering crimsons are so perfect for this season I can’t even begin. This is why I am in love with E.L.F’s latest color #1569 Cranberry. I’m a huge fan of E.L.F products but this color is fantastic. For only costing $1 this color goes on nice and clean. It’s so simple and pretty, I can’t wait to complete my holiday looks with it!

My fingernails peel like crazy, they’re impossible, especially in the fall and winter seasons. But during a manicure, the tech gave me a couple of great tips that have helped a lot! For starters, avoid quick-dry nail polish, and do not spray them with quick-dry sprays. These polishes break down faster and dry out your nails, causing them to peel. Also, do not file nails when they are wet, the file will tear at them leaving them weak and more prone to peeling. These tips have definitely helped me and hopefully they can do the same for you!
Check out some of our other Quick Tips!
A couple months ago, we featured Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure nail polish in Commander in Chic. It was right on trend with the gray-iege, mushroom colored nail polish that you could find on everyone and anyone! Actually, I’m still loving the gray-iege trend and I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. So don’t think you can get through the season without it, but as any good Diva…I like to be different sometimes. Stand out from the pack and be a trendsetter! That’s how I got this month’s Color Club: Sally Hansen’s Xtreme Wear nail polish in Wet Cement #37.
The color is a modern, cool gray that resembles…well, wet cement! The color name doesn’t do this nail polish justice so I’m hoping I can. It’s a dark nail polish color like many other Fall/Winter nail polish shades, but it has a creme effect, which makes it look light and subtle. I applied it last night and I’m in love with the true gray color because it stands out from all the gray-iege fingernails out there! Plus, I think this color will also work well in the Spring and Summer because of that light, airy effect!
What do you think of Wet Cement? Will you try it out? What nail polish are you obsessed with right now?
We’ve all been there. Spend a great deal of time, perfectly applying the hottest nail polish shade and thinking that our nails are dry, we move on with our lives. Only to notice later, the smudges and chips already there! How disappointing, right? Quickly dry nail polish, seal in the color and prevent chips simply by dipping your nails in cold water.
There are a lot of great quick drying top coats that you can apply after two coats of polish. These usually dry the nail polish and leave a shiny top coat so they are great to add to your nail polish collection. However, if you’re ever in a hurry and don’t have time to apply the top coat, use the cold water tip to quickly dry the nail polish! You can either run your nails in cold water or put some in bowl and dip your nails in for a couple minutes.
Have you ever tried this tip? Do you usually use a top coat after applying nail polish?
If you’ve been meaning to jump on the taupe/beige/mushroom nail polish trend, but have hestitated for one reason or another. Stop procrastinating because it’s one of the hottest nail trends for Fall! In fact, Chanel just released a special khaki nail polish collection for Fashion’s Night Out. The three colors in the collection are all military inspired including an army green, a stone khaki and a deep khaki color. This month’s color club is a dead ringer for that dark khaki color.
Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure in Commander in Chic # 370 is a smooth brownish/gray color that is incredibly modern and trendy. Just like it’s namesake, the color is really chic because it is so different. It’s definitely not red, pink or champagne beige. That’s what makes it a must-have for cutting edge, trendy fashionistas everywhere.

The dog days of summer are upon us. Nothing is better this time of year than a tall, iced drink to help us cool off and relax. An iced sweet mint tea would really hit the spot! This month’s Color Club nail polish has the same effect!
